Contrary to the expectations of many, the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow sentenced the former Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev to eight years in a maximum security colony. This is a verdict that fully meets the priorities of Igor Sechin, and no one dared to cross his path, standing to defend Ulyukaev. Vladimir Putin did not do this: obviously, not out of fear, but because of the lack of a sufficient desire to understand what happened. It was much easier to believe the old friend for the word. For Sechin, this was not only “honor”, this became a condition for his political security.
Eight years of strict regime is a too severe sentence regarding the expectations that dominated during this year (after the announcement of the TASS court, with reference to an unnamed source, suggested that Ulyukaev could be released from serving a term in a colony for health reasons; experts doubt it ).
