Amur Region: The builder of the cosmodrome will reduce two thousand workers

The main military-construction department No. 6 (former Dalspetsstroy) will reduce the number of workers by two thousand people, Interfax writes with reference to the general director of the enterprise Andrei Nazarov.

According to Nazarov, two months ago, the builder of the Vostochny cosmodrome agreed by a reduction in 2,000 employees. The company's press service added that dismissal would be held until mid-2018. Today, the company continues to work at the Vostochny cosmodrome under four contracts.

Over the past year, the number of employees of the enterprise has already halved, having fired 2899 people after the Ministry of Defense orders to "optimize the number of personnel." According to Nazarov, the lack of proceedings in the courts or complaints of former employees to the prosecutor's office suggests that there was no violations of the law upon dismissal and reduction.

At the same time, the Director of the Department confirmed the debts of the salary company, calling the situation "extremely difficult." At the beginning of December, 1221, the builder of the Vostochny Cosmodrome, employers owed 44 million rubles.
