In the communities of the VKontakte social network, posts were posted from the accounts of dead users with an appeal to see the press conference of President Vladimir Putin on December 14, Znak.com reports .

The deceased users belonged to part of the accounts from which such records were published. They consisted of a hashtag "#Putinkrut" and a poster with a quote from the president and the logo of the "Young Guard of the Unified Russia" (Mger).

The publication cites an example of such a post, posted on December 15 on behalf of a resident of Kiev Lyudmila Brykova in the “Typical Railway Man” community. The page indicates that the last time she was used on the 15th. Brykova died in 2013, and her page has not been updated since then.

Now the VKontakte administration began to block some accounts from which Putin’s press conference was advertised.

Mger claims that they prepared publications on Putin’s press conference in social networks, but are not related to their distribution on behalf of the dead users. "Our representatives were present at the press conference of Vladimir Putin, led online broadcasting from this event and further prepared materials for distribution on social networks. But we do not know anything that the accounts of deceased users were involved in the distribution, we have nothing to do with this," said Anna Rogacheva press secretary.
