On December 16, a political event was held in Yekaterinburg, which promised to be loud - in the Ural capital, the presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak solemnly opened its headquarters.
The "candidate against all" was waiting for three o’clock in the afternoon. By this time, a hundred people had already been full of headquarters, a third of which were made up of journalists. The "people" was also represented and quite diverse - young activists, women and middle -aged men, several pensioners. As for the “cream of society”, none of them were noticed at the meeting - neither famous businessmen, nor social activists or policies of Yekaterinburg came to the opening of Sobchak headquarters.
While the wait lasted, employees of the headquarters at the entrance recorded arriving and rolled them with colored bracelets. Why they were needed, and remained a mystery - there was no access regime at the event. Two guards ensured safety: on December 12, a certain elderly woman tore off branded stickers from the entrance to the headquarters, because "personally it suits her in the country."
Neither famous businessmen, nor social activists or policies of Yekaterinburg at the opening of the headquarters of Sobchak did not come
The delay of the candidate dragged on for 20 minutes. Finally, the staff of the headquarters asked everyone to go outside and stand with a live corridor to meet the guest as appropriate. “In order not to freeze, let's shout a little,” suggested the head of the Yekaterinburg headquarters Yevgeny Ron to Megafon, and the first began. -Sobchak-Proto-all! " However, the “drove” did not work: either the red carpet a la did not like democracy, or it was cold, or something else.
Finally, Sobchak arrived, as it should be, the star passed through the system of fans and cameras, and then turned to the gathered with a traditional greeting. “Yekaterinburg is a very important city for us, so I’m here for the second time,” said Ksenia Sobchak. - Roizman was chosen in this city, which means that people live here who can vote protest. With such people you can change the authoritarian regime. ” (By the way, the mayor of Yekaterinburg Evgeny Roizman did not come to a meeting with the applicant for the presidency either).

Already at the headquarters surrounded by journalists, Sobchak answered questions that excite the inhabitants of Yekaterinburg. For example, can a “candidate against all” help Yulia Savinovsky money? It was about a woman who was taken away by two adopted children with serious diseases after she removed the seventh breasts. The explanation that too big the bust prevented her from living, did not suit the guardianship - they do not return the children, because the Savinovskys are suspected of an effort to change the floor. “We will meet today to find out how I can help. Now we will organize legal and consulting support through the headquarters, with regard to money - this must be discussed personally, ”Sobchak said.
“My campaign is designed for people who do not like to live in poverty, although we have a richest country. Money is spent on officials who buy villas abroad, and not for social needs. There are a lot of problems, but social - the most important, including in Yekaterinburg. "
“Your program has mainly social topics. Is it designed only for women? Or will there be something else interesting? " The local journalist asked.

“My campaign is designed for people who do not like living in poverty, although we have a richest country,” Ksenia began to explain patiently. - Money is spent on officials who buy villas abroad, and not for social needs. There are a lot of problems, but social - the most important, including in Yekaterinburg. I am simply trying to explain to voters that there is a direct relationship between their problems and the irremovability of power. As soon as we all realize this, we will begin to change something. ”
The next question was heard from the far corner of the hall: a lively pensioner, ignoring the lined with journalists, asked how they could help the candidate in the collection of “Children of the War”? “Thank you, this is the best question,” Ksenia Sobchak reacted and began to tell how the headquarters will work and who could sign up for volunteers.
Answering the question of whether she would “throw” her voters, as Mikhail Prokhorov did, Ksenia Sobchak, Ksenia Sobchak remarked: “We have no guarantees from anything. I only guarantee that I really want to change the situation and will do everything possible for this. Mikhail Prokhorov is a man for whom I also voted six years ago. Why couldn't he organize a party? I think this is not one Prokhorov’s fault. But I will do everything in my power. If there are no circumstances of insurmountable strength, I see no reason not to get together and further through party mechanisms not to influence power. ”

The press conference ended on this. In a small room with Sobchak, an involuntary star of the local news agenda Julia Savinovsky with her husband and lawyer retired. The conversation lasted about 15 minutes. Later, Yekaterinburg, said that Sobchak was shocked by her history and promised that she would not let her forget about her in the capital.
Voters began to slowly diverge home, and soon Ksenia herself left the headquarters. Her program continued with a meeting with the residents of the Old House, another press conference and a social experiment-together with a single mother, a presidential candidate went to a chain store to understand whether it was possible to survive on a social benefit.
* In the elections in March 2012, billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov took third place (gaining 7.98%), and in October announced his intention to completely devote himself to politics. At the end of 2012, he founded and headed the Civil Platform party. On March 13, 2015, Prokhorov left the “Civil Platform” and proposed to liquidate the party in connection with the unsatisfactory behavior of its members who took part in the march of “Antimaydan” with the posters “Makarevich - the organizer of the Maidan”, the proposal of regional cells on the exclusion of Andrei Makarevich from the party’s ranks and disagreements on the Crimean issue
