17.69 billion rubles will be spent on preparing and holding the day of voting for the president of Russia, Vedomosti reports. Most of it will go to paying the salaries of the employees of the precinct election commissions.
The election campaign officially started on December 18, after the publication of the resolution on the appointment of the voting day. According to the member of the Central Election Commission Yevgeny Shevchenko, 67 political parties will be able to nominate their candidates for president.
