The court sent for compulsory treatment a picketer with an anti-Semitic poster

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sent 49-year-old Mikhail Boldenkov to compulsory treatment, who is accused of inciting hatred and enmity for picketing with an anti-Semitic poster. This was reported by the city news agency "Moskva" with reference to the press service of the court.

On December 18, Boldenkov “was recognized as having committed an act prohibited by criminal law, provided for by part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code, in a state of insanity, and released from criminal liability. Compulsory medical measures were applied to Boldenkov, ”said Anastasia Dzyurko, spokeswoman for the Tverskoy Court.

Boldenkov was detained in April 2017 during a solo picket in front of a McDonald's restaurant. On Boldenkov’s poster it was written “The Heavenly Father will destroy the Satanist Jews”, which served as the basis for initiating a criminal case. In addition, Boldenkov handed out leaflets with the headline "The last warning to the people of Israel (To avoid the wrath of God, be prudent!)"

During interrogation, the man said that he studied the Bible and came to the conclusion that it was necessary to “warn the Jewish people about their real and almost complete destruction by the population of the planet Earth” if they did not stop engaging in cabalism.

In August, the Moscow Mental Clinical Hospital No. 1 issued an expert opinion , in which Mikhail Boldenkov was recognized as suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and alcohol dependence syndrome. Previously, he had already been sentenced for inciting hatred to a year of probation in prison.
