The Court of the Central District of Togliatti returned to the police the administrative case against Oleg Ustimenko. Proceedings against the activist were opened due to a post with Nazi symbols on the VKontakte social network. It is reported by "Kommersant".
The reason for the return of the case was violations in the protocol. The judge did not find the exact date and time of publication of the post in the materials. The IP address of the computer from which the publication was made is also unknown.
According to the police, Ustimenko posted an image of Vladimir Putin in a Nazi uniform (demonstration of Nazi symbols - Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Ustimenko himself said that he did not even know about the existence of such a post. He connects the attention of the police with his social activities.
In 2016, Ustimenko was an assistant and confidant of the candidate for the State Duma, Vitaly Yerkaev, came to Navalny's rally, supported the PARNAS party. In September 2017, representatives of the E Center called the activist for a talk and asked him about his political views.
On December 15, Ustimenko was detained and he spent the night in the bullpen.
