The number of settlements of the Altai Territory with 4G networks reached 50 traffic on the LTE network in 2017 increased 2.7 times.

MTS added nine more settlements in seven areas of the region to the 4G coating map, the company's press service said. Additional 4G base stations were built and network coverage in 44 cities and villages of the Altai Territory. The largest number of new communication objects were erected in cities where record growth rate of mobile traffic is recorded - Barnaul, Novoaltaysk, Rubtsovsk, Aleisk, Slavgorod. The coverage of tourist zones was also provided - spring, aya, katun, the 4G coating area in Belokurikha was expanded. As a result, MTS subscribers in the Altai Territory began to consume 1.6 times more mobile Internet than a year earlier.
