Bitcoin Cash (BCH) appeared on August 1, 2017 as a branch of the original bitcoin (BTC). Two currencies have a common past, but from the moment of separation, the miners of each build their own chain of blocks. Bitcoin Cash developers are trying to fix the main defect of the BTC - slow transactions processing. To do this, they increased the size of the cryptocurrency block. Here you can read more about this.
Those who had bitcoins before August 1, after the branching, turned out to be the owners of two cryptocurrencies at once - ordinary bitcoin and the same amount of Bitcoin Cash.
At the time of launch, Bitcoin Cash was sold for $ 300, or 0.1 original bitcoin. Two days later, the course grew one and a half times, and Bitcoin Cash turned out to be the third in cryptocurrency capitalization - only Ethereum and the original bitcoin are more expensive than it.
In early November, the Bitcoin Cash course sharply grew. This happened on the eve of the developers of changes to the algorithm for calculating the complexity of mining new blocks. At the peak, the price reached $ 2400-almost 0.4 ordinary bitcoin, but then recorded in the range of $ 1200-1400.

The Bitcoin Cash course began to rise on December 18 - on the eveof the statement of the largest American exchanger of Coinbase cryptocurrencies about the beginning of work with BCH. It then cost a little more than 1800 dollars. Two days later, his cost in this exchanger was $ 8,500, and at other sites - 3,500 dollars each. Why this happened, no one knows, but Coinbase, just in case, decided to stop the operation with this cryptocurrency so far. At the same time, the exchanger began checking for insider trade: the company's employees were prohibited from participating in transactions with Bitcoin Cash within a few weeks. This did not affect the cost of cryptocurrency-it still costs twice as much as December 18.

As with all other cryptocurrencies, it is unknown.
