Russian retailers received less than 2.5 billion rubles. profits due to today's failure of online cash registers. This was announced by the President of the Association of Internet Trade Companies Alexei Fedorov.
“According to our calculations, about 9% of the market suffered from the failure. The turnover that did not enter the cash desks amounted to 10 billion rubles, 2.5 billion rubles. - the lost profit of retailers on this day, ” TASS quotes Fedorov .
Failure affected retailers who installed the software on the cash registers released after May 29, 2017, Fedorov specified. Basically, the problems were experienced by companies operating in the Far East and Siberia. So, for example, only the DNS company lost about 1 billion rubles.
A massive failure in the operation of online cash desks occurred on December 20 at 01:00 Moscow time, follows from an explanatory letter from the deputy head of the Federal Tax Service, Daniil Yegorov. Owners of online cash registers that have failed will not be held administratively liable for settlements without cash registers, as there is no fault of theirs, he stressed.
