The Moscow City Court reduced the arrest to 5 days for a detained spectator at Artdocfest

The Moscow City Court reduced the arrest of Vitaly Leontyev from seven to five days for disobeying the police at the Artdocfest documentary film festival. This was reported by defender Sergei Sharov-Delone.

Leontyev was detained during a disruption of the screening of the film “Flight of a Bullet.” He came to the film as a spectator. SERB participants who tried to stop watching were given 7 days. On December 15, the Presnensky District Court arrested Leontyev for 7 days.

Vitaly Leontyev said that during the film screening, members of the pro-Kremlin organization SERB who came began to gather a crowd around them. They began to insult those present in the hall, and beat some of them. Leontyev did not tolerate such antics and entered into a debate with them, after which the police arrived and detained him and three SERB activists.

In the protocol, law enforcement officers wrote that Leontyev resisted them. According to him, this did not happen - the man was not held, he walked calmly.

The police also did not begin to understand the conflict between the detainees: they wrote in the protocol that Leontyev, like others dissatisfied with the screening of the film, tried to disrupt the film screening and shouted “Glory to Ukraine!”
