The state can become one special bank more. VEB did not find interested in buying Globex Bank, which was a victim of a last crisis. Now this bank can be transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency, and then it should turn into a special bank for the needs of the defense industry, which the state was needed due to the risk of new sanctions by the United States.

• Even this year, the head of VEB Sergey Gorkov assured that there were many applicants for Globex. Perhaps they were frightened by the began sanitation of large private banks, but the bank was never sold.
• On Monday, Reuters sources reported that by the end of the year the transfer of the Bank of the Federal Property Management Agency will begin. On what conditions is not yet clear, but the VEB wants a money transaction in the amount of the bank's capital (20.2 billion rubles as of October 1).
• On the basis of Globex, the state is going to create a bank for the needs of the military-industrial complex.
• Such a bank was needed after the United States decided that sanctions should be extended not only to the OPC enterprises themselves, but also to any persons and companies that work with the Russian defense industry.
