The judge of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow Julia Mordvina appointed former Pussy Riot participant Maria Alekhina 40 hours of compulsory work for the action "Happy Birthday, executioners!". It is reported by "Mediazona".

Alekhina was announced guilty of part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in unauthorized picket, resulting in interference with the functioning of life support objects, transport or social infrastructure, communications, the movement of pedestrians or vehicles).

The lawyer of Open Russia Oleg Eliseev, representing the interests of Alekhina, said that in the actions of the activist there was no composition of the offense. "Alekhina herself had no intent to picket. She came out alone, no evidence was presented," the lawyer noted. In addition, the activist was not going to interfere with the passage of citizens.

The photographer Denis Bochkarev, detained with Alekhina, the judgeappointed 60 hours of compulsory work. The judge ruled that the media law applies only to full -time employees and those with whom the editorial office drawn up the contract. Bogochkarev did not have documents confirming that he acted on the instructions of the editorial office, which means that his actions were qualified as participation, the judge said.

On Wednesday, on the day of security officers and centuries of the special services, Alekhina and activist Olga Borisova, they tied the banner "Happy Birthday, executioners!" To the lattices on the doors of the FSB building on Bolshaya Lubyanka. Together with Alekhina, photographers Bochkarev and Andrei Zolotov, who shot the action, were detained. Zolotov was subsequently released, and Bochkarev, like Alekhina, were left before the court in the Police Department "Meshchansky".

On Wednesday by the FSB building, activist Vera Lavreshina, Elena Zakharova and their associates held a series of single pickets. They stood with posters "Hundred Years of the Cheka.
