"Happy birthday, executioners!". This banner, hung at the entrance to the well -known building on Lubyanka, much better reflects the essence of the centenary of the Cheka than the extensive interview of the FSB director Alexander Bortnikov - a real anthem of the "expensive organs".

Words such as “red terror” or “Katyn” cannot be found in the text. The head of the FSB in a blue eye claims that in the civil war, the Chekists were mainly engaged in the elimination of the machinations of foreign powers, the struggle against separatists, and even "participated in ensuring food security." True, they did it somewhat specifically, scooping up the grain of the peasants under the eyeballs, which largely provoked the famine of 1921. And not a word that the Cheka, in the framework of red terror, massively shot hostages, whose entire fault was in an inappropriate social origin. As well as the fact that, eliminating counter -revolutionary organizations, the Chekists widely used the provocation method, and then who succumbed to provocate simpletons were shot. And the combination in the hands of the Cheka of the functions of the investigation and the court of Bortnikov does not bother at all.

Of all the mentioned heads of the security agencies (Putin, of course, among them), only berries and Yezhov were awarded negative characteristics. But their main crime, in Bortnikov, is that they ... massively repressed the Chekists. The Head of the FSB himself considers the terror of the 1937-1938 himself, the head of the FSB considers it in many respects justified, since "archival materials indicate the presence of the objective side in a significant part of criminal cases, including the plans of well -known open processes. The plans of the supporters of L. Trotsky by the displacement or even the liquidation of I. Stalin and his associations in the leadership of the CPSU (b) are bypasses, as well as the connection conspirators with foreigners. "

It is interesting, why is Trotsky’s plans for the displacement of Stalin by the decision of the party train, which really existed in 1924-1927, we must consider today as a crime today? And why can these plans be considered as a legal basis for repressions of 1937-1938? It turns out that the political processes of the 30s, the false character of which has long been proven, now must be considered legal and fair. And now all the nonsense that sounded on these processes about Trotsky, Bukharin, Tukhachevsky and other party and military figures as Japanese, German or British spies, we should now perceive the truth. But what about the fact that the defendants in these cases have long been rehabilitated? Probably, the authorities will not pay attention to such a trifle and the relevant passages will soon appear in history textbooks.

But the repressions, it turns out, were also justified because "a large number of those who are defendants in those cases are representatives of the Party -Minopurliture and the leadership of law enforcement agencies, mired in corruption, which repaired arbitrariness and lynching." According to this logic, Hitler Einzatzroups can also be justified. After all, in the occupied Soviet territories, they shot not only Jews, but also partocrats and law enforcement officers who stained themselves with corruption and arbitrariness!

Beria, unlike his predecessors, was awarded only flattering characteristics from the head of the FSB. Lavrenty Pavlovich and part of the Chekists who innocently injured under Yezhov returned to the authorities and cleaned the Yezhov executioners tightly. Here you can see some inconsistency. After all, Beria cleaned no less security officers than Yezhov. It can be seen that the logic was as follows: Yezhov cleaned good Chekists who distinguished themselves in red terror, and in the suppression of peasant uprisings, and during violent collectivization, and during the fabrication of the first political affairs, such as the Shakhtinsky or Prompartia. But Beria cleaned the bad Chekists, the "careerists of previous calls." Bortnikov also emphasizes the positive role of Beria as the "father" of the Soviet atomic bomb. Yes, and about the attack of Hitler, the Chekists reported everything correctly, but they were a little mistaken with the date.

It is possible that Lavrenty Pavlovich will soon be rehabilitated and recognized the 1953 process by falsification. That court really was no different from the fabricated political processes of the 30s, so kind Bortnikov, and Beria and other defendants can and should be rehabilitated in court. But the moral rehabilitation of Beria and other refractory security officers is absolutely unacceptable. After all, Lavrenty Pavlovich not only produced the victims of the “Ezhovshchina”, and then rehabilitated the victims of post-war repressions (not a word about these repressions, as well as about the later persecutions of dissidents), but also filled the camps with new repressed in the territories occupied by the USSR in 1939-1940, led the execution of 25 thousand Polish Polish Officers and civilians in Katyn and other places (and this is one of the most ominous Soviet crimes against humanity), was engaged in the deportation of "punished peoples" (this is also not mentioned in an interview). And in the "Ezhovschina" he managed to take a feasible part, leading mass repressions in Georgia. And even earlier, being the head of the GPU of Georgia, he fabricated things on the model of Shakhtinsky.

But Bortnikov is just engaged in the moral rehabilitation of the Chekists, or silence their crimes, or justifying them of the prevailing emergency, primarily an external threat. Other powers, they say, from the time of the Civil War, only thought how to dismember and destroy Russia, and today they did not refuse such plans. Well, in the fight against such a threat, all means are good.
