The defense of the defendant in the March 26 Case, Dmitry Krepkin, sentenced to one and a half years in prison in a general regime colony, appealed the verdict of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow. Krepkin was sentenced on December 7. According to investigators, at an anti-corruption rally on March 26, he kicked a National Guard employee on the right thigh, causing him to “experience physical pain.” Krepkin himself claims that he did not hit the National Guard, but hit a police baton. The accusation is based on a video, but the video was filmed from the back - it is difficult to say what exactly happened from it. Krepkin did not admit guilt.

Yuri Kuliy , Alexander Shpakov , Stanislav Zimovets , Andrei Kosykh and Alexey Politikov - detained at the March 26 rally in Moscow and also accused of violence against government officials - received actual prison sentences ranging from 8 months to 3 years and eight months. Kuliy has already been released .
