The police of Chechnya recognized a visit to the Yamadaev family. But there was no assault

The law enforcement agencies of Chechnya the day before visited the family of businessman Isa Yamadayev. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Gudermes district of Chechnya, police colonel Yusup Baysultanov, reports Chechnya Today.

The police checked whether the Yamadaev brothers were on the wanted list in the house. The assault on the house, however, was not carried out, Baisultanov assured.

“In some media, the incident was called the“ storm ”. This information was clearly distorted by interested parties. We inform you that the police worked in accordance with the law, ”the colonel said.

Rosbalt the day before said that about 400 fighters arrived in the city of Gudermes, where the relatives of Yamadaev live, who are allegedly controlled by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. They allegedly stormed houses in Gudermes.

20 interlocutors of Novaya Gazeta rejected this information. According to the source of the newspaper in the police, passport checks were held there.

Yamadaev is on the wanted list on the attempt on Kadyrov in October 2016. He is allegedly considered the organizer of the attempt.
