British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, who arrived in Moscow on Friday, saw economic progress in relations with Russia in the supply of Bentley cars. He said this during talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"I am pleased to say that there is an increase in exports of certain products from the UK here, and I understand that 300 Bentleys have been delivered to Russia this year. Perhaps not to Foreign Office staff, of course. It is a signal, a sign of progress," Johnson was quoted as saying by Interfax .

Johnson flew to Moscow on Friday night to hold "important talks" with Lavrov, the minister wrote on Twitter. The head of the British Foreign Office noted that London and Moscow have differences, but also have problems that need to be worked on together, including Syria, Iran and North Korea.

Johnson's visit to Russia was supposed to take place on April 10, but at the last minute the minister cancelled the trip. He cited the events in Syria as the reason, which "changed the situation." This was the US air strike on a military base of the Syrian government forces.
