At the Congress of the Civil Initiative party, journalist Ksenia Sobchak presented her program in the presidential election of “123 difficult steps”. This was reported on her website.
“There are no interests of the state. There are only the interests of people. The state should have only one interest, and only one goal is the rights and freedoms of citizens on behalf of which this state acts, ”the TV presenter postulated.
The basis of the program, as Sobchak said, is an investment in education, as well as limiting the role of the state.
“The state has no right to dictate to people what religion to confess and whether to believe in God generally. He does not have the right to force people to military service if he is not in a state of global war. And of course, he cannot divide people into the first and second variety by their nationality, gender, sexual orientation, skin color or physical capabilities, ”the politician believes.
Today, the party is expected to nominate Sobchak as a presidential candidate.
