The interrogation of students of the Timiryazev Academy is completed, they were released

At 23 o’clock the interrogation of four participants in a series of single pickets in defense of the teacher, students of the Timiryazev Academy, ended. The police left. According to eyewitnesses, students were interrogated by students of the criminal investigation department, but no one saw them. This was announced by the OVD-Info by telephone by the municipal deputy Julia Galyamin.

In the evening, police officers arrived at the hostel of the Timiryazev Academy, went around the rooms of students participating in a single picket and called them to a separate room. For a long time they didn’t let anyone in, there was no connection with them. Arriving at the hostel of a lawyer and municipal deputies alsorefused to let go for a long time.

According to the chat of the students of the Academy, the police asked, including "what Internet chats are the students, with whom they are familiar." Julia Galyamin on Twitter writes that the students were threatened with expulsion.

Presumably interrogations took place due to the recent single picket. At the time of the action, the police did not have any complaints about its passage, the picket passed peacefully.

On December 25, students held single pickets in support of the teaching staff of the Academy. It became known that the dean of the faculty of agronomy and biotechnology Alexander Solovyov Russian Agrarian University named after Timiryazev can be dismissed allegedly due to violation of labor discipline. Academy employees associate this with the fact that he organized shares against the development of experienced fields with elite housing.
