Headhunter bought Job.ru

The recruiting company Headhunter agreed to buy the Job.ru portal, the oldest personnel selection and job searches in the Russian market. This is written by Vedomosti with reference to the press service of Headhunter.

The amount of the transaction is not reported, it is supposed to be closed before the end of January 2018. The Job.ru website already refers to the closure of the portal and it is proposed to go to the site hh.ru.

As for the Job.ru team, in HeadHunter they are ready to take successful employees to work after an interview. “Job.ru shareholders themselves work with employees, if we see successful employees, then we are ready to take them to us. At the end of November, the holding announced that due to unprofitability he would stop working and close the Job.ru portal, as well as the site “from hand to hand” (IRR.ru). As Mikhail Zhukov, Director General of HeadHunter, noted on December 27, “the decision of Pronto Media shareholders to stop the further development of all Internet assets in Russia gave us the opportunity to acquire part of Job.ru assets, in which we saw the most value for the company and our customers.”
