In the mandate for a long time

No one has no doubt that 2018 will be the year of the next extension of the presidential powers of Vladimir Putin. In the Russian political environment - which is pro -government, that opposition - it is customary to call this procedure for extending the elections. Meanwhile, this name itself is completely erroneous and serves as a sophisticated form of self -deception.

The elections are by no means connected not only with the voting day, but also with honest - well, or relatively honest - competition in the pre -election period. With the same competitive political process. With the presence of representatives of the authorities and the opposition at least a certain similarity of political views - well, with an interest in these views of the population. There is nothing like this in Russia.

In this sense, we can talk about elections even in such authoritarian countries as Zimbabwe, the times of Robert Mugaba, a dictator who could compete with Putin in the concentration of power and inadequacy, received about the same vote as an opposition representative, was forced to falsify the voting results, get involved in a long negotiation process and appoint a competitor to the Prime Minister. Therefore, Zimbabwe is a country in which the population has not yet forgotten what an alternative is. And Russia is a state in which the population never knew about this.

Of course, Yeltsin’s elections could still be called such - but then citizens did not choose between figures and views, but between communism and his alternative, both times. When the ghost of communism has finally disappeared from the political horizon, the non -alternativeness of the “voting” was easy to restore.

And in this sense, Navalny, calling for the boycott of elections because of his non-participation, is much less adequate to the situation than Sobchak, who is going to participate in these elections. For the Russian political regime, participation in Putin’s powers is an honorary duty that still needs to be earned. Only Navalny with his overestimated self -esteem and the sect of exalted fans may seem that his regime is actually afraid of it. Navalny simply did not deserve permission to participate in the ceremony, and Sobchak deserved.

Even if both alternative candidates participated in the "Elections", they still could not collect at least some noticeable amount of votes that we would have known about. Just because in existing conditions, this number itself cannot be verified, and the authorities are not at all afraid of accusations of falsifications. She doesn’t care. And this is logical.

The authorities managed to establish a regime in Russia, most reminiscent of the regime of the so -called countries of popular democracy in Soviet times. In a number of these countries, there was a multi -party political system, but only all parties were built under power, and power under the Soviet invaders. In our case, the invader is the KGB, and the criminalized business. The entire political system is built for this common fund, the “United Russia” is entrusted to the role of uniting and guide, and all the other - the function of imitation of differences.

I want to remind you that the famous "swamp" rallies began due to falsification of the results of the parliamentary elections. And when I heard warlike cries "We are power here!" From people who believe that the adherents from "Fair Russia" did not give the voices, I could not understand who lost a sense of reality for a long time - I or these seemingly sane and educated people. But now I have no doubt. 26 years of corrupt Chekist capitalism led to a complete loss of this feeling by the entire adult population of Russia.

Does the lack of elections, coupled with the full control of the authorities behind the political situation, from which there can be no way out? No, does not mean. Just in such total control lies the future collapse of the regime.

Mugaba and others lasted so long just because they released opponents to the arena, let them participate in politics and even win - and then dealt with dissatisfied in one fell swoop. Putin's total control is the guarantee that neither we nor Putin do not know dissatisfied in power. Which will allow them to act in a crisis. In the end, when the GDR regime collapsed, the allies of the regime calmly united and even before the free elections created a new leadership of the country.

I do not exclude this for Russia. It is only necessary to accustom yourself to the idea that the temporary alternative to Putin after his collapse will not be Navalny or Khodorkovsky, but the most adapted adapter, confident that if there is no Putin, then there will be no Russia. In Russian political history, it has always happened - and there is no reason to think that this time will not.
