Leonid Volkov was released after 30-day administrative arrest

After the retirement of the 30-stage administrative arrest, Leonid Volkov, the head of the presidential campaign, Alexei Navalny, was released from a special-reception in Nizhny Novgorod. It is reported by Navalny.

On September 29, Navalny’s rally was supposed to be held in Nizhny Novgorod. The action was agreed, but the local authorities banned it at the last moment. In the morning of the same day, Navalny was detained in Moscow when he left the house to go to Nizhny Novgorod.

The scene and equipment on Markin Square were dismantled under the control of security forces. Volkov submitted an application to the police to prevent a public event, but he himself was detained. In the evening, Volkov was taken to the airport and released there. Navalny was also released from the police. Both were obliged to appear in court. The action in the city that day still took place, several of its participants also received administrative arrests for up to 20 days .

On October 2, the judge of the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow Khzyr Musikaev arrested Navalny for 20 days for the call to reach a rally in Nizhny Novgorod under part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for organizing rallies). After the trial, the politician was calling for protesting shares throughout the country on October 7, on the birthday of Vladimir Putin.

The next day, the Savelovsky district court arrested Volkov for 20 days , declaring guilty of the same part 8 of article 20.2). In protest, Volkov declared a hunger strike. “Let us go, vile bitch, let us conduct a campaign normally,” he wrote on Twitter before sending to a special detention center.

However, on October 5, the Moscow City Courtcanceled the decision to arrest Volkov . His case was considered the unusual Savelovsky district court. The protocol was sent for consideration to the Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod.

Immediately after leaving Volkov, the police detained the police and took him to the Preobrazhensky police department.
