A report was drawn up against a volunteer at Navalny’s headquarters for a post with the picture “We can repeat it”

In Maykop, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism drew up a protocol against Navalny's headquarters volunteer Pavel Mikhailichenko. He is accused of publicly displaying Nazi symbols. The young man himself told about this OVD-Info.

The reason for the case was a post on Vkontakte with a critical anti-war text by Echo columnist Anton Orekh about the Victory Parade and the celebration of the end of World War II. Two photos are attached to the post. Employees of the Center “E” were attracted by a photograph of a car with a sticker on the rear window with the inscription “If you want, we can repeat it!” and "Thank you grandfather for the victory!". On a sketchy sticker, men with a swastika and a hammer and sickle inscribed in their heads are having sex.

The police officers drew up a report on the young man, but did not give him a copy and did not allow him to be photographed. In addition, they asked whether Mikhailichenko would be in the city in the coming days in order to call him again “in case of emergency.”

UPD 5.02.2018 Mikhailichenko clarified that the employees of the Center "E" then drew up not a protocol on the offense, but an interrogation protocol.

• According to Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols) people are fined and arrested for any display of Nazi symbols, regardless of the context.
