Alexei Navalny filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court against the Central Election Commission (CEC) because of the refusal to register him for the presidential election as a candidate. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Ivan Zhdanov.

Zhdanov tweeted that the hearing of the lawsuit was scheduled for December 30.
