The Presnensky Court of Moscow arrested the general director of the Menshevik confectionery factory, Ilya Averyanov, who on December 27 opened fire on people on the territory of the enterprise. Interfax reports this.
Averyanov was charged with murder. He shot the factory security guard and then fled. Averyanov previously told reporters that he opened fire on prosecutors who allegedly wanted to take the company away from him.
At the trial, Averyanov stated that he “did not intend to commit any illegal acts, especially murder.”
