When excavating the ITKOLOL mogille in the Shirinsky district of Khakassia, archaeologists found two heads from children's dolls for four thousand years. One head depicts a person, the other - an unknown animal.
The Nakhodoks of the Sayan Archaeological Expedition of the Institute of Material Culture (IIMK) of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Geographical Society (RGO) was reported by the TASS agency. According to the head of the expedition Andrei Polyakov, the head depicting a person is made of "soap" stiator stone, the second - from a horn - depicts an animal that failed to identify.

The height of the head is about five centimeters, it is larger than similar things found earlier. Scientists believe that the body of the doll was made of fabric or leather. Nothing indicates the elite nature of the burial, so the archaeologist believes that an ordinary child played with these dolls.
For two years, the Sayan expedition worked as part of the project "The Secret of ancient artists of Siberia." In 2016, the expedition found a clay smoker - a vessel for burning herbs, decorated with images of "Solstice larvae". This find will date the ancient fine art of Okunevsky culture.
Okunevskaya culture belongs to the early Bronze Age, the name went from the tract Okunev Ulus in the south of Khakassia, where in 1928 the burial ground of this culture was first exceded.
