Hello! This is the last "Evening Medusa" in 2017. If there are no troubles in the world (and we very much hope that they will!), then our mailing list will also have a New Year holidays.
However, this does not mean that you will have nothing to read on Meduza itself. Just the opposite! For the holidays, we have prepared New Year's and post-New Year's (read: hangover) tests and games, lists of the best films, series, books, songs and podcasts that will help brighten up your holiday. And on January 1, we will publish several materials about one great Russian TV series, which turns 20 years old. What a series, until we say, so as not to jinx it. Read Medusa!

After the emergency, the Moscow authorities began to install concrete blocks near the crossings.

Apple officially apologized to customers for slowing down older iPhones. This was done in order to prolong the operation of devices with a low battery. The company has now cut the cost of replacing batteries by almost a third, from $79 to $29.
Eat!
Long New Year's feasts are fraught with various tests for the body - overeating, poisoning and other injuries. We have compiled a guide on how to protect yourself during the holidays. For example, our medical editor Daria Sargsyan recommends that on the eve of the feast, create a plan for exactly how much you are going to drink - and follow it!
The New Year is usually perceived as a noisy and cheerful holiday at a large table with family and friends. But many no longer follow this tradition, preferring to celebrate the new year alone. We asked several people how much they enjoy it.
Take care of yourself! Alexander Filimonov
