
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law according to which the minimum wage from 2019 will be brought to the level of living.
From January 1, 2018, the minimum wage will be increased to 9489 rubles, which will be 85 % of the living wage for the second quarter of 2017 (11,163 rubles).
From January 1, 2019, the minimum wage will be installed at the mark equal to the subsistence minimum for the second quarter of the previous year. The minimum wage will remain unchanged even in the case of a subsistence minimum.
