1. Alexey Navalny

2017 ends for Navalny not on the most optimistic note: the CEC has not registered initiative groups for his nomination for the presidency.

But he led the campaign for a long time, and she, undoubtedly, was bright.

Back in January, they wrote about the possible ban on financing his activities, then about the new Kirov process . Navalny was doused with a green and compared with Hitler

He himself announced the possible support of the communist Klychkov in the elections of the Moscow Mayor, brought to tears the journalist Ekaterina Vinokurov, cursed with political scientists and gave an unsuccessful interview with Ksenia Sobchak. Got Navalny and for the decision to speak on the debate with Igor Strelkov, and for a pale performance .

Many copies have been broken around his economic program ( for example, now ), but, alas, there is no longer necessary to argue closer to the New Year - now we are talking about whether his idea of the "electoral strike" is to support .

2. Vladimir Putin

Navalny was so active that he was even able to squeeze the leader of our last year’s list - the current and, it seems, is not going to go to the peace of the Russian president.

Attention to the words and affairs of Putin, however, is also not surprising.

Putin listened to the Kholu rhymes performed by the Unarmeans, promised Evgeny Mironov to deal with the case of Kirill Serebrennikov (but Alexander Arkhangelsky no longer promised ), met with Macron, told Oliver Stone that he had no critical days, composed fables about Franz Schubert and even interpreted the Torah.

In addition, the president presented the Russians with a new meme, vaguely calling prostitutes "girls with reduced social responsibility."

In a word, it may seem that Putin had an exceptionally fun life, but there were quite serious moments in it. So, he instructed the economy to transfer the economy to "military rails", again withdrew troops from Syria, and closer to the end of the year he decided on his readiness to nominate the next elections, which also did not delight everyone .

3. Donald Trump

At the beginning of 2017, the inertia of the excitement, which caused Trump’s victory in the elections, was still obvious - it was not for nothing that in January they still argued about how Russia contributed to this victory, and then looked at the inauguration together. On January 30, Trump first talked on the phone with Vladimir Putin, and in the summer he talked with him on the sidelines of the international summit.

But back in February, he disappointed his Russian fans, demanding a return of Crimea and de -escalation of violence in eastern Ukraine. In the spring, he defiantly fired at the Syrian air base, and in the summer he paid a very important and symbolic visit to Poland.

Not without purely American topics - for example, discussions about the rights of women and migration policy of the new president.

4. Alexey Teacher and Natalya Poklonskaya

The first creative tandem on our list. Almost the whole year, the teacher finished work on Matilda, and Poklonskaya, who had moved from the prosecutor’s chair to a deputy, shortly before, tried to interfere with him.

For example, she wrote a request in which she demanded to protect the “private life” of Nicholas II, sent the police to look for tax crimes from the teacher

She chopped it everywhere that in the Crimea the sovereign began to the mystery the bronze bust of the sovereign. But with earthly affairs, it turned out to be more complicated - so, it is still unclearwhether Poklonskaya had a husband and where he went.

Already in the summer, Ramzan Kadyrov connected to the fight against Matilda, then it came to arson of cars and bottles with incendiary mixture.

But everything ended with zilch: the film was released and no one liked it !

5. Ksenia Sobchak

Ksenia Anatolyevna burst into our five, arranging a powerful spurt in the fall.

First, the first rumors crawled that the presidential administration was looking for a bright young woman who would act as a sparring partner in the elections. Then these rumors became more distinct and, finally, were officially confirmed .

Having entered the race, Sobchak immediately began to be perceived as a competitor of Navalny, gained a rather curious team with extensive experience in Boris Yeltsin, publicly argued about the status of Crimea and "went down to hell" - arranged a large tour of federal television channels

But we will clarify that we wrote about Sobchak and before her presidential plans - for example, when she took the already mentioned interview from Navalny or recorded a video message to Petro Poroshenko.

6. Vladimir Medinsky

On the heels of Ksenia Sobchak, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation comes on our list.

Trying to defend his dissertation from attacks, Medinsky printed an article in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, which was immediately christened by the "manifesto of historical lies." The expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission, however, did not agree with the manifesto and recommended to deprive the Medinsky degree. Even before the case in the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission, it became known about the obvious inconsistencies of the protection procedure itself - it turned out that the official opponents did not even see the dissertation. But all this did not prevent the Presidium from voting to ensure that the minister remains a doctor of science .

They accused Medinsky in an attempt to disrupt the Nureyev ballet, and in the spread of stop lists in front of the Petersburg Cultural Forum. After a pause per year with new attacks against Medinsky, Konstantin Raikin performed .

7. Kirill Serebrennikov

And again about culture. One of the most high -profile criminal cases of this year (only one competitor, about him below) was the “Serebrennikov’s case”, although, in addition to the director himself, it is necessary to recall other defendants: Nina Maslyaeva, Alexei Malobrodsky, Sofya Apfelbaum, Yuri Itina.

In May, Serebrennikov was the first search , in the summer it turned out that the prosecutor's office considered the existence of a real performance fiction

In August, the director was detained and is still under house arrest. But in December, the Nureyev ballet was still released in the big one, and this premiere allowed Putin with aplomb to declare that Serebrennikova was not talking about any persecution.

8. Ramzan Kadyrov

The leader of Chechnya finally called warm words addressed to the completely liberal public, bringing down public curses on Stalin.

But the warm words ended on this: in Chechnya they tortured and killed gays, the comrades of Kadyrs threatened the Novaya Gazeta, and he promised to "put the whole world with cancer."

True, later Ramzan Kadyrov openly stood up for Muslim-Rhindja oppressed in Myanmar, but his human rights rhetoric did not succeed and caused mainly a wave of criticism and fear .

9. Alexey Ulyukaev and Igor Sechin

Public opinion will no longer be able to convince - the majority firmly confident that the former minister put the head of Rosneft.

Ulyukaev tried to blame Sechin of staging a bribe, and the evidence showed that at that meeting, Sechin tried to foil the minister with a bag with sausage, and not with money.

True, Sichin himself refused to come to court, but it did not need it - the court hid Ulyukaev in prison for eight years.

10. Julia Samoilova

The heroine closing the list appeared in it for the first time and, most likely, will no longer appear again.

In winter, it became known that Russia wants to send Yulia Samoilova - a young singer who has been moving in a stroller from childhood to the Eurovision final to Kiev.

Apparently, everything was obviously designed for the scandal - Samoilova spoke in the Crimea, and the SBU simply forbade her to enter the country, and Russia generally refused to broadcast Eurovision.

It is noteworthy that online broadcasts gathered many spectators - in May, social networks enthusiastically discussed the victory of the Portuguese singer Salvador.
