Ringo Starr became a knight - the last of the Liverpool four

Two cult figures of the musical world are the drummer of The Beatles Ringo Starr and the founder and leader of the Bee Geees group Barry Gibb were awarded the knightly title. Their names are in the traditional New Year list of the British , released on the British Government’s website, to which the Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II awarded high titles and ranks according to the results of the past 12 months.
