
The police detained the suspect in shooting at Red Square in the center of Moscow, the press service of the capital's head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. The probable cause of the conflict, during which two people were seriously injured, is called jealousy there.
Earlier, the department reported that two people were injured as a result of a conflict with shooting on Nikolskaya Street near Red Square. The source told RIA Novosti that the man shot a young man several times. The TASS source said that the girl, which the offender shot six times, suffered more. There were reports that he shot from firearms, but later the Ministry of Internal Affairs specified that a traumatic gun was used during the conflict.
The interlocutors reported that there could be jealousy. The shooting man "did not share" something with the young man who came to the bar with the girl.
The victims are in serious condition. They were delivered to the Sklifosovsky ambulance research institute.
The TASS source called the name of the suspect - this is 26 -year -old Alexei Semelin, a native of the Republic of Mari El. He was detained on the exit from Moscow early in the morning. "On Sunday, at 5:40 pm, on the 40th kilometer of the Novorizhskoye Shosse, the police stopped a passenger car under the control of a 26-year-old wounds for a 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old girl on December 30 in a restaurant on Nikolskaya Street," the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"During the detention, the suspect caused themselves bodily harm, police officers handed it over to doctors to assist," the department added.
