The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the Russian Foreign Ministry with a request to confirm the fact and clarify the circumstances of the detention of the ATO participant Oleg Nedoda in Moscow. This was stated by the official representative of the Consular Service of the Ukrainian diplomatic department Vasily Kirilich, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

"We turned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with a motion to report whether the specified citizen was detained. In case of confirmation of the fact of the detention, we demand to inform on what basis and under what circumstances were detained, the place of detention, and also improperly allow the consul to visit the detainee of the Ukrainian," Kirilich said.

On Tuesday night, the UNN publication reported on the detainment of Nedoda in Moscow with reference to an informed source. "Oleg Aleksandrovich Nekoda, Kiev, served in the ATO zone in 2016-2017. At the end of 2017, he left for the city of Saratov to his sister. He was detained in Moscow unknown on December 24-25. Now the place of his stay is unknown," the source of the publication said.
