The 80th anniversary of Marietta Chudakova

On January 2, 1937, Marietta Omarovna Chudakova, literary critic and public figure was born in Moscow.

Chudakova is one of the leading specialists in the Russian literature of the first half of the 20th century, the author of the classical work "Mastery of Yuri Olesha" and two more hundred scientific papers, an outstanding Bulgakovad, chairman of the All -Russian Bulgakov Fund.

In October 1993, a letter from the Supreme Council of the Supreme Council signed a letter of 42. In the 1990s, she worked as part of the Presidential Council and the Presidential Commission on the Commission. In the 2000s, she began to regularly travel around Russia with cultural and educational goals.

In 2007, she entered the first three candidates of the Union of Right Forces in the elections to the State Duma (the party did not overcome the 5 percent barrier).

In April 2010, she signed the appeal of the Russian opposition "Putin must leave."

She also signed a number of open letters in support of Ukraine.
