You can now read the first chapter of Boris Akunin's last Fandorin novel

The writer Boris Akunin (Grigol Chkhartishvili) has shared the first chapter of the last book in his series on the adventures of Erast Fandorin, posting the cover art and first 30 pages in photographs on Facebook. The last Fandorin novel, titled “I’ll Be Back,” takes place in 1918, a year after the Bolshevik Revolution.

Akunin’s 15th book about Fandorin, “I’ll Be Back” will hit bookshelves and ebook sites on February 8, 2018, on the 20th anniversary of the release of “Azazel” (published in English as “The Winter Queen”), Akunin’s first Fandorin novel.
