The ECHR communicated two complaints of a civil activist, the former political prisoner of Ildar Dadin, to the conditions for transfer to the Karelian IK -7 in Segezh and the contents in this colony. This was reported by TASS with reference to the lawyer Nikolai Zboroshenko, who represents the interests of the activist in Strasbourg.
As far as it can be concluded from the publication, Dadin accuses Russia of violating Article 3 (prohibition of torture and inhuman circulation) and 13 (the right to an effective means of legal protection) of the European Convention.
In particular, the activist notes, in the schizo IK-7 from morning to evening, loud music played without stopping. In addition, the complaint says, the toilet in the cell was faulty, and the privacy of use was not provided to them. Dadin also notes the constantly included upper lighting, cold in the chamber, the absence of most bedding and insufficient nutrition.
Complaints, Zboroshenko said, will be considered according to a simplified procedure, "based on the established court practice."
Earlier, the ECHR communicated eight activist's complaints about illegal detention during protests of 2014-2015.
Dadin was sentenced to two and a half years in general regime under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code (repeated violations at rallies). In February 2017, less than six months before the expiration of the deadline appointed by the activist, the Presidium of the Supreme Court abolished the sentence, referring to formal violations. For Dadin, they recognized the right to rehabilitation. In May, the opposition was awarded 2.2 million rubles of compensation for illegal criminal prosecution.
In the Karelian IK-7, Dadin spent about three months in the fall of 2016. In the schizo of this colony, he was subjected to cruel torture and bullying by the FSINESS.
