In Murmansk, on Sunday night, they burned the car of the head of the Jewish community of the city of Ilya Raskin. It is reported by "New Gazeta".
Land Rover Raskin was parked in the courtyard of his house in the city center. Firefighters are sure that the cause of the incident was arson. Although the car has a diesel engine, there was a strong smell of gasoline, and a container from fuel was lying nearby.
As Razkin noted, the time for the crime was chosen with a hint. The car was set on fire exactly at midnight in Orthodox Christmas.
“The Jewish community considers such an act not only as an act of vandalism and hooliganism, but also as a focused anti -Semitic extremist action aimed at inciting interethnic and inter -religious enmity, a manifestation of terry anti -Semitism, intimidating the interests of the Jewish community,” wrote Raskin. He submitted applications to the FSB and the prosecutor's office.
According to the head of the community, he still has not yet encountered direct threats to his address or address of the organization, but now he is seriously afraid for the safety of his children and relatives.
Earlier on the walls of the Jewish communal center, unknown people left graffiti in the form of a swastika. The police failed to find the suspects.
