In Chechnya, the head of the representative office of the Human Rights Center "Memorial" in Grozny Oyub Titiev was detained. This was reported on the website of the center.

In the morning, Titiev went to work in Grozny from a house located in the village of Kurchal. At 9 o’clock he was supposed to meet his friend in the neighboring village of May of May of May. A friend waited for Titiev for about an hour, and went in search of him. At the bridge between Kurchali and Mayrtup, a friend of the human rights activist saw 5-6 people in the form of a traffic police, a special purpose car and Titiev’s car examined by the police. The car was opened as a hood and trunk, a spare wheel lay on the ground. Titiev himself stood nearby.

A friend got out of the car, but Titiev made a sign so that he drove without stopping. After 20 minutes, a friend returned, but Titiev again showed him that he needed to leave.

Soon, from friends, a friend of the human rights activist found out that both cars drove into a curly. He went to the local police department, but he was not allowed inside. At the same time, in the courtyard a friend saw Titiev’s car.

A lawyer left the Kurchaloevsky police department from Grozny. However, the police said they did not have Titiev. The lawyer was not allowed into the premises of the department.

In the morning, Titiev’s phone is turned on, but no one takes the phone.

The head of the Hot Parts program PC Memorial Oleg Orlov reported the incident head of the Council for Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov. He called the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya. In July 2009, the Memorial activity in Chechnya was suspended after the murder of one of the leading employees of this organization - Natalia Estemirova. She was stolen on the morning of July 15, 2009 near her house in Grozny. In the afternoon of the same day, her corpse was found in a forest belt in Ingushetia. The cause of death was firearms in the chest and head. Colleagues and friends of Estemirova assigned responsibility for her death at the Power of Chechnya and personally the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

On June 3, 2015 in Grozny it was a pogrom of the office of a consolidated mobile group of human rights activists . During the rally of memory of Dzhambulat Dadaev, who was killed in a formidable police from Stavropol when trying to detain, about 200 people, mainly women, came to the house where the SMG office is located. They began to shout the slogans of the "killers to answer!" Then about 10 people with scraps and sledgehammer appeared near the office. They were in hoods, black glasses and medical masks. At first, these people defeated the car of human rights activists, parked in the yard. The human rights defenders of the SMG in the office were evacuated through the window. The attackers completely defeated the room, destroyed office equipment and carried away all the documents. Then, with the help of a grinder, they began to open the door to the apartment of human rights activists, located in the same entrance. The police were inactive.
