The general director of SIBEKO JSC Ruslan Vlasov commented on the sale of shares of the company. The “Siberian generating company” Andrei Melnichenko is interested in the asset.

Kuzbassenergo JSC decided to redeem 100% of Sibeko's voting shares. The FAS approved the deal with the reservation that the company should not allow increasing electricity prices in the Altai region.

“This is an absolutely normal process. When there is an effective company, of course, it attracts investors, ”Vlasov commented on preparations for the transaction on January 9. - <...> for today there are no changes [as part of the owners]. This process, as a rule, is long: the negotiation part, there are supervisory authorities, in particular, we passed the FAS. Today we are where we are, everything is our time. ”

Vlasov noted that “these processes” have been around the company for many years.

According to the company representative, a possible transaction will not affect consumers: “When the investor enters an attractive object, he, as a rule, understands that he can and will make the appropriate profit.”

Acting of the Novosibirsk Governor Andrei Travnikov confirmed that the negotiations on the sale of Sibeko are "for several years". “I can reassure that the regional government will not allow consumers to suffer. I am absolutely sure that Sibeko's production assets are quite effective and have a potential for development, ”he added.

Sibeko supplies thermal energy to residents of the Novosibirsk region and Altai. The companies own four TPPs in Novosibirsk, Barabinskaya TPP and the Biysk TPP (Altai JSC Biyskenergo). The main profit is brought by electricity trade.

The Novosibirsk Corporation was part of the RU-Com holding, the former chairman of the board of directors of which was Mikhail Abyzov. Now he is the Federal Minister for Open Government. At the end of December 2017, Abyzov came to Novosibirsk, in addition, he was present when signing an agreement on the construction of a paid bridge across the Ob with the VIS group.

Kuzbassenergo is part of the Siberian General Company. SGK belongs to 17 TPPs and GRES in the Kemerovo region, Altai and Krasnoyarsk region, Tuva and Khakassia. The base for the company's infrastructure was energy facilities previously part of the Kuzbassenergo and Yenisei TGK, withdrawn from the Siberian Coal Energy Company.
