Officials were allowed not to declare cryptocurrency
The Ministry of Labor allows civil servants not to declare information about the presence of virtual currencies, TASS reports .
“The certificate form does not provide for the indication of goods, services received in kind, as well as virtual currencies,” the Ministry’s document says.
Information on income, expenses and property for 2017 is provided by employees of state bodies, their spouse and minor children.
Income certificates are required to be provided by persons holding state positions in the Russian Federation, state positions of subjects, municipal positions. Employees of state corporations, the Pension Fund, the Social Insurance Fund, the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, etc., are also required to provide information on income.
