Khazbiev was detained upon returning to Ingushetia

The Ingush oppositionist Magomed Khazbiev, who returned to his homeland from Chechnya on Thursday, was detained by the police in the case of the illegal turnover of weapons. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the security forces, Khazbiev was detained "during operational-search measures." Meanwhile, the politician himself previously stated that on the 11th he intends to return to Ingushetiaand immediately appear at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nazran . “They will detain - this is how they will detain,” the opposition said. “According to the article (part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code), I face a maximum of four years, if they are imprisoned, then I’ll sit out. I am ready for this.”

Since Khazbiev had already been arrested in absentia, now he is sent to a pre -trial detention center.

The security forces also report that in addition to the case of weapons against Khazbiev, another and one more - under Article 319 of the Criminal Code (insulting a representative of the authorities). If in the case under the 222th article the politician has the accused, then in the new case he goes as a suspect. Article 319 does not provide for a real term, however, if the opposition is convicted by the real term under the 222th article, then the punishment under the 319th, unless this is a fine, subject to the complete or partial sentences (and not the absorption of greater punishment less) will be replaced in accordance with Article 71 of the Criminal Code with a small additional period in the colony.

Cases under Article 319 of the Criminal Code necessarily suggest the presence of a victim. Those who go through the victims in the Khazbiev case, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ingushetia does not specify. It can be assumed that this is the head of the region Yunus Bek Evkurov. A few days earlier, the opposition said that it was Evkurov and close associates that were behind the recently committedattack by Khazbiev’s house in Nazran.

In addition, on the 9th, the politician published an appeal on the Ingushetiyurorg2010 on the YouTube channel, in which, among other things, he stated that the attempt on him, undertaken on February 1, 2015 in Grozny, is Uva Yevkurov, the brother of the head of Ingushetia.

38-year-old Khazbiev is a member of the Mehk-Khel movement, the former chairman of the regional branch of the RPR-Parnas and the owner of the website Ingushetiyaru.org. In early 2014, he came to Kiev to express the support of Euromaidan.

The persecution of Khazbiev began in January 2015. According to the opposition, on January 23, 2015, on the eve of the protest rally in Nazran, he received information that Yevkurov ordered his activities to stop. “I was told that they could kill me like my associates Maksharip Aushev and Magomed Evloev ,” the politician said.

On the same day, the deputy chief of the regional CPE brought Khazbiev a summons demanding to appear in the police. The oppositionist spent the whole next day with the security forces and did not get to the rally.

On January 25, the police broke into the Khazbiyev house and detained the father of the politician Khamzat Khazbiev, as well as two brothers, announcing that they were suspected of the theft of the car. During the search, weapons and ammunition were seized; They, as the oppositionist and his relatives insist, threw them by the visits themselves.

The Khazbiev brothers were handed over to the operatives from Rostov-on-Don. There, the suspects were kept in jail for 11 months. “The chief of the Central Bank, Timur Khamkhoev , promised to provide a video that captures how they steal the car,” the politician noted. “Without waiting for anything (Rostov security forces) they were released.”

After the detention of relatives, Khazbiev was promised to send the agenda, but then the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nazran Urushan Bisaev said that he would personally come to the opposition home and delay him.

After that, the politician went to Chechnya. There, a few days later, an assassination attempt was made, of which Khazbiev accused his brother Evkurov - the opposition car was fired. Since then, he has been in Chechnya under state protection for almost three years.

Two and a half weeks after the assassination attempt, on the night of February 17, 2015, the first attack on the house of the Political Policy in Nazran was committed - the construction, as before, was the Khazbieva car, underwent shelling.

In March 2015, the opposition was put on an international wanted list. In connection with the search for the investigation of the Khazbiev case, it was suspended. As the lawyer of the politician Hedi Ibrieva noted, the evidence of the security security forces is ignored, even though the former chief of the Central Bank of the Central Bank of Khamkhoev and his subordinates are now under investigation, including on charges of exceeding official powers.

Khazbiev made the decision to return on the 11th to Ingushetia after consultations with the elders of his teip, who arrived at him in Chechnya. The representatives of Tip, led by the elders, he noted, on this day they will gather at his house and declare to Yevkurov, "that he will personally be responsible for any lawlessness towards me." “Sooner or later, you will have to answer the Ingush customs,” the politician emphasized.

“I was offered to go abroad, but I am not going to leave my republic to the villains and run away,” Khazbiev said. “I will continue the struggle until the laws and the Constitution of the Russian Federation have to operate on the territory of Ingushetia. You know, because everything that happens in the Caucasus - torture, murders, terror is then transferred to the rest of Russia. It is tested here and then applied throughout the country.”

Immediately after the statement of Khazbiev, the second attack on the house was made, where his parents and younger brother Murad live with his wife and four children, the youngest of whom is only a few months. A fragmentation grenade was thrown into the courtyard of the house. One of the cars standing in the yard - Mercedes - burned completely. The second car, armored, turned out to be heavily yielded with fragments. Also, the walls and doors of the house received serious damage.

Of the people, no one was injured from the explosion. However, the wife of Murad Khazbiev only miraculously escaped injuries: immediately before the attack, she returned to the house from the kitchen, which is located in a separate room in the yard. “As soon as the door closed behind her, the explosion rang out,” she said.

In addition, the father of Khazbiev, who was diagnosed with degree cancer about a year ago, suffered a heart attack after the attack, and the mother of politics was taken to relatives with a nervous breakdown.

Commenting on the next attack, Khazbiev noted that in this way, officials, led by Evkurov, want to keep him from returning to Ingushetia. However, the opposition was assured, he will not change his decision.
