The investigation asks to leave under house arrest until April 19 the artistic director of the Gogol Center, director Kirill Serebrennikov, accused of the Seventh Studio. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press secretary of the Basmanny Court of Moscow to Juno Tsarev.

"The court received the petition of the investigation authorities to extend the term of maintenance under house arrest against the accused Serebrennikov until April 19, 2018," Tsareva said. According to her, for the same time, the investigation asks to extend the preventive measures to the former general producer of ANO "Seventh Studio" and the ex-director of the Gogol Center Alexei Malobrodsky, former general director An Yuri Itina and ex-heading Nina Maslyaeva.

"The considerations of the petition against Maslyaeva were scheduled for January 15 at 11:00, in relation to Serebrennikov, Malobrodsky and Itin - on January 16 at 12:00," Tsareva noted.

In the case of the theft in the Seventh Studio, the total amount of damage is, according to the TFR, at least 68 million rubles. None of the accused, except Maslyaeva, admits guilt. From the very beginning, the ex-header went to cooperate with the investigation and testified to other defendants.

On December 25, it became known that the TFR intends to allocate materials in a separate production from the “Seventh Studio” from the “Seventh Studio”. She will be judged in a special order. This was stated by the investigator at a hearing in the Basmann District Court on the extension of the house arrest of another person involved in the case, director of the Russian Youth Academic Theater Sofia Apfelbaum. The preventive measure was extended to her until April 19. For the same period, the investigation is now extended.

Since May 2017, Maslyaeva was kept in jail. On October 6, she was transferred under house arrest .

Since May 25, 2017, itin has been under house arrest, from August 23 - Serebrennikov. Malobrodsky has been contained in jail from June 20.
