The leader of the hacker group "Shaltai-Boltai" Anikeev was refused

On January 12, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow rejected the request for the parole of Vladimir Anikeev, the alleged leader of the hacker group "Anonymous International", also known as "Shali-Boltai".

The representative of the pre -trial detention center, where the convicted person is now, refused to clarify RIA Novosti , he supported the petition for parole or not.

The judge said that the decision may be appealed in the Moscow City Court, Kommersant writes. The lawyer of the convicted person Yevgeny Simaranov did not specify whether the decision of the Lefortovo court will be appealed in a higher instance.

In July 2017, Anikeev was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. He was found guilty of unlawful access to computer information protected by law. Anikeev made a deal with the investigation, and the case was considered in a special order, which implies a complete admission of his guilt.

The petition for the parole of Anikaev filed on December 22, 2017. Given the time he conducted in jail, the term of serving the sentence expires in November.

In September, two more alleged members of the group - Alexander Filinov and Konstantin Teplyakov - sentenced the court to three years in prison of everyone.

Since 2014, Shaltai-Boltai published the correspondence of senior officials, public figures and famous people, including Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The group members argued that their goal was only the freedom of information and freedom on the Internet. According to the prosecution, the correspondence from the hacked mail of Russian officials and public figures was sold on the Internet exchange for bitcoins.
