Students of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University said that they are forced to collect signatures for nomination of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin. About this on her Facebook page was written by a member of the Youth College under the governor of St. Petersburg Oksana Borisova.
In her message, the girl noted that students need to collect at least 14 signatures - supposedly this will play an important role during the passage of the session. Borisova explained that she was asked to publish a photo of the signature sheet anonymously because young people are afraid of the consequences, and added that the university rector is a member of the United Russia party.
Rosbalt reports that the vice -rector of the Polytechnic University Dmitry Kuznetsov denied this information. According to him, the educational institution is not aware that someone can do this.
