Suddenly refused

The President of the United States Donald Trump accused Russia of helping the DPRK bypass international sanctions. According to Trump, Russia counteracts not only American, but also Chinese efforts - "Russia helps us, wedges in Russia. In other words, Russia compensates for what China is doing."

At first glance, such an accusation may seem paradoxical. During the election campaign - and after it - Trump was not shy of charges of China and assured that he could agree with Putin. It is China, as you know, is the main sponsor of the North Korean regime. Russia plays his life support more likely an auxiliary role. Why was Putin guilty, not Xi Jinping?

To begin with, the accusations of Trump can be the most ordinary truth. In Beijing, they can indeed be concerned about the growing independence of Pyongyan. The Soviet leaders in the past also hated socialist countries more than capitalists, recall the curses against Yugoslavia, Albania, and the same China. So the willingness to act within the framework of international sanctions against the DPRK looks quite justified from the point of view of Beijing. Formally, China does not take any independent steps, it is simply forced to follow the instructions of the international community. And nothing threatens "fraternal friendship", and the pressure is growing.

Putin is a completely different matter. The vassal of my vassal, as you know, is not my vassal. Why not help the North Korean madman, especially since he manages to tickle the nerves so well to Americans? The Russian president is unlikely to think about the fact that help can lead to the real use of a bomb, a war on the Korean peninsula and even more serious consequences. In recent years, we could make sure that when it comes to confrontation with America, Putin is not at all interested in the consequences.

Nevertheless, Trump was tritely blindly closed his eyes. He forgave Putin to ignore America in Ukraine, in Syria, and in the United States itself. And in the situation with North Korea he did not forgive.

And this is also logic. The confrontation with the DPRK (unlike problems in Ukraine and Syria) is not just an international conflict, but a military threat directly to America. At least Kim Jong -un threatens directly the United States. And the whole world hears it. And America hears it. And this is hearing the voter of the American president.

This is Trump's personal war. And in this war, “friend Vladimir”, with whom he hoped to agree, was on the other side. It's a shame. But predictable. And, in addition, at the moment it is beneficial for Trump himself. Because his environment is accused of relations with Russia, and not with China. The farther Trump is distant from the Kremlin, the more serious his own confrontation with Putin will be, the less Trump is vulnerable to these accusations. Trump is convenient to confront with the Kremlin. But Putin's confrontation with the White House is extremely unprofitable. In order to protect himself, he should have defiantly help the American president in his confrontation with Pyongyang.

But this is not a recipe for Putin. Faith in their own greatness is a bad adviser. She helped Putin turn into the main scared of the 21st century, only Kim Jong -un competes with him in this nomination. But it narrows the field for the maneuver to the size of the gap. And he convinces almost everyone that it is simply impossible to agree with the Russian ruler.

Now Trump understood this.
