On January 17, three employees of the Center for Combating Extremism (Center “E”) and four security officials wearing masks and armed with weapons in SOBR uniforms came to the first sports training of members of the Youth Association of Nationalists (YUN), accompanied by a district police officer. This was reported in the Facebook group "Party of Nationalists".
The training participants were not accused of anything, but their passport details were recorded and some of the activists were interviewed separately. During these conversations, employees of Center E threatened the nationalists with "physical harm" if they continued to participate in protests.
“I am ashamed that in our country those who are called upon to protect the people are engaged in scaring the youth who disagree with the regime with whole raids on our training,” the coordinator of the Youth Association of Nationalists comments on the situation.
