
On Friday evening, in Lytkarino near Moscow, a drunken driver tried to shoot a traffic police officer from a traumatic pistol, according to the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. As noted, the guardian of order managed to dodge the shot, and during the then struggle, to detain the attacker.
According to the SK, the traffic police inspector, passing in a service car in one of the streets in Lytkarino, noticed a car that had driven into a ditch. The policeman went to the car and found a man on his front driver’s seat, who, in his opinion, was intoxicated.
The man proceeded with the policeman to the service car, while in the salon of which he brought a traumatic gun on his head to the law enforcement officer. “The policeman, noticing this, managed to dodge and the struggle started between them. The man fired several times, but did not get into the employee. As a result, the police managed to knock the gun out of the hands of the suspect,” the department said.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer").
The man was detained, the scene of the incident to the present moment was examined. In the near future, an interrogation of the suspect should take place, after which he will be charged.
