Navalny's supporters detained in Astrakhan

In Astrakhan, three supporters of Navalny were detained - the coordinator of the local headquarters of the politician Alexander Kogut, an employee of the headquarters Kirill Andriyanov and a volunteer of the headquarters, whose name is not known. The detainees reported this by calling the OVD-Info hotline.

Navalny's supporters handed out leaflets about the "voters' strike" in the Bratsk Garden in the center of Astrakhan. The police motivated the detention by the fact that the activists were carrying out “illegal campaigning”.

The detainees were taken to the police department in the Kirovsky district. Now they are signing explanatory notes. The police want to seize their campaign leaflets.

UPD 17.20: The detained supporters of Navalny were released from the police, taking explanatory notes from them and drawing up a protocol on the seizure of leaflets. Leaflets, according to the police, will be sent for examination.
