A report was drawn up against the Viasna coordinator for displaying Nazi symbols

Konstantin Pokhilchuk, the coordinator of the Vesna movement and Navalny's headquarters in Veliky Novgorod, was charged with displaying Nazi symbols (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) on Vkontakte. This was reported on January 19 in the Protest Moscow telegram channel.

Pokhilchuk was summoned to the police, allegedly in order to return the things and leaflets seized during the search at the headquarters. “But they brought him to a building where there are definitely no leaflets, but there are departments E (extremism) and K (combating crimes in the field of computer information),” wrote the Vesna telegram channel.

On the page of the movement on VKontakte, they clarify : “The reason for compiling the protocol was a video in which the “law enforcement officers” somehow magically managed to detect criminal content. An unidentified, clean-shaven man, possibly drunk, dances the lezginka in front of a Christmas tree and swastika-shaped ornaments. The video was added to the list several years ago and has never been published on a personal page.

Viasna's participants link this administrative case to the upcoming Voters' Strike action.
