In North Ossetia, Alexander Tsomaev, the head physician of the central regional hospital Alagir, was fired after the comment “Caucasus. Realities," the publication reports .

On December 31, the publication published an article about a dairy kitchen for low-income children, the only one in the entire Alagir district that was no longer funded by the state. In his comment, the head physician said that the Ministry of Health did not allocate money to the hospital and does not respond to his requests to provide funds for the purchase of products.

The Ministry of Health returned the work book to Tsomaev on January 9, without explaining the dismissal in any way and refusing to comment on its decision to the publication.
