Sometimes the most strange things may indicate deep public changes. It would seem that interesting can be extracted from the analysis of the famous video with dancing Ulyanovsk cadets? A little theory

In the wide sea of ​​psychology, there is an approach called bodily-oriented. Its founder was Wilhelm Reich, an outstanding student of Sigmund Freud. Reich was the first of the European psychotherapists to discovered that a person’s neurosis is inseparably connected with his bodily structure. The inability of a person to fully freely express his bodily nature is manifested in rigid stresses, forming, according to the Reich, “muscle shell”, which constrains the human body. This shell forms our mental restrictions and methods of human relationships with other people, limits us in a free manifestation of feelings, making us gesture and low -sighting. Reich came to the conclusion that the stresses that occur in a person are created due to the family system of repression of the child’s personality, copying the state system of suppression of personality as such.

Each area of ​​the body, according to Raychu, corresponds to a certain range of human manifestations, so, a fixed cardiac region leads to inability to love, the blocked throat leads to difficulties in expressing feelings, and the squeezed pelvis makes us with realtous (gesture), reduces the manifestations of our vitality, deprives spontaneity, the joy of creativity and freedom in the expression of sexual impulses. Our movements become rude, and sex - mechanical and deprived of deep pleasure.

The student of Reich and the creator of modern bodily-oriented psychotherapy, Alexander Lowen, also investigated the issue of enslaving a person and free expression through movement, paying particular attention to the emancipation of the pelvic area. Russian bodily therapists, as well as the teachers of Latin American dances, are well aware that in modern Russian culture both in Russian women and in men of one of the most blocked areas are just the pelvic area. People tend to keep this “indecent” area - pelvis, hips, groin, buttocks, genitals - as if frozen.

In addition to purely physical restrictions, this area is associated with a set of certain emotions, most often with feelings of shame and guilt. Working out at sessions, emotions associated with this enslavement, a bodily-oriented therapist helps a person to better feel this area and “appropriate it to himself”, which is accompanied by a feeling of greater heat in a blocked area, a sense of joy, freedom, pleasure, a great sense of vitality and increasing its physical mobility. Libido increases, a person becomes warmer, lively, mobile. He allows himself to feel pleasure, and feelings of duty, guilt, shame cease to dominate his psyche.

Sexual revolution

Let's get back to the sensational dance. The ease and freedom with which the guys in the video move the pelvis, they say a lot to a professional look. With only exercises, such lightness cannot be achieved. So only people who are not crushed from childhood feels of guilt and shame can move the pelvis. Obviously, they were much less shameful and blamed in childhood, their early manifestations of sexuality were not suppressed, which led to the fact that for them the free movements of the pelvis are no longer marked as indecent. Of course, their movements look rather funny, the pelvic mobility is at the very basic level, no one owns complex spiral movements (compare with the movement of the military in the original British video, which served as inspiration for the children, but the inhabitants of the vague albion were never considered experts in this matter), but this is not so important. The main thing is that these guys generally know where they have a priest, and they are not shy about sweeping movements with this “provocative” place. And if such an attitude to your body is characteristic not only for these individual boys, then this is certainly a revolutionary change in the personal structure of Russians.

Generation is grown, ready to include "bottoms" in their life. Such people have greater inner freedom, lightness and spontaneity. It is more difficult to manage them, because they are worse for manipulations with feelings of guilt and shame. There are chances that they will be warmer in relationships, more lively and funny, more sexy lovers and more caring parents. All these qualities correlate with an active bottom. And this means that the sexual revolution occurs before our eyes (the stream of video shot in support of the guys), and it manifests itself in the most peaceful way - through the dance.

Reaction

It is not surprising that in society you can hear a lot of shameful comments about what happened, because it is shame that is the main whip with which the traditional society is trying to lead the “lost sheep” to its norm. Even the liberal representatives of society can experience conflicting feelings by looking at such dances, because it is one thing to have an intellectual opinion, and it is quite another to personally experience the fruits of freedom that go beyond the usual frames (in this case, invisible framework of decent pelvis). “They would be ashamed”, “men don’t behave like that”, “a shame of the honor of a uniform” - all this is vocabulary of shame. It is in this tone that the state apparatus communicates with the guys, in full accordance with the theory of Wilhelm Reich. However, the norm seems to be changing before our eyes.
